DISPATCHING
You can sign the day book in person between the hours of 8:00 am to 8:30 am, or by telephone, between the hours of 5:00 pm the day before dispatch to 8:00 am the day of dispatch. Please phone 520-622-6745, once prompted select extension 220, leave a message with your name, phone number and request to be added to the “Day Book”. Dispatching will begin at 8:30 am. If you called in for the Day Book and I call you to offer you a job call at dispatch, you must answer my phone call to accept the job. If you do not answer, I will move to the next person on the list.

JOB CALLS
The calls Wednesday morning for Lira Electric and Commonwealth Electric were not filled at dispatch. No strikes were issued.
For Thursday, August 13, 2026 we have the following new calls for work:
2 Journeyman Wiremen for Gilbert Electric. Working at CalPortland. Must pass a company drug test that includes marijuana. Working 6-10s, possibly 7 days for 3-4 weeks or until shutdown is completed. Must have current MSHA. Report to shop after dispatch for paperwork, work starts on Friday.
1 Journeyman Wireman for SMS. Must pass a company urine drug test that test for marijuana. Must know PLC programming & installation. Emerson cylinoid valves & regulators. Ability to draw control & wiring diagrams on auto cad.
1 Call Foreman by Name for Stark Electric. They call Richard Burnside.
All Calls Require 2 Valid Forms of ID and Compliance with the Drug Testing Program.
